TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Arrival Manila.
Arrive Manila. Transfer to accommodation in Manila
Our holidays start and finish in Manila - the Philippines’ vibrant, bustling, capital. Many of the cities that make up Metro-Manila consist of a sophisticated collection of tall, modern buildings, and shopping malls. Manila has plenty of attractions, modern shopping centres, lively nightlife, restaurants and cafés. Its people are polite, and very welcoming to visitors.
Day 2 - Tagaytay and Taal Heritage Tour
Tour of Tagaytay and Taal Town. Return to Manila after the tour. Overnight in Manila.
Day 3 - Manila to Legaspi
Check out of accommodation. Transfer to Airport. Flight to Legaspi.
Arrive Legaspi, transfer to Donsol. Bicol is one of the Bicol Region’s top tourist destinations, famous for the Philippines’ most active, and almost perfectly formed, Mayon volcano.
Day 4 - Whale Shark Interaction plus Evening Firefly Watching River Tour
The largest annual congregation of Whale Sharks is in Donsol from December to May. These gentle giants are migratory animals, found in warm tropical waters as they follow their food supply. They migrate to Donsol in vast numbers to take advantage of the dense food concentration of plankton and krill. The Fireflies on the Donsol river should not be missed, and it is easy to get mesmerised by their dancing!
Day 5 - Albay Provincial Tour
Return to Legaspi. Enjoy a tour of Albay, first taking the road up Mt Mayon to enjoy spectacular views. See surrounding areas that have been affected by the volcano over the years, such as the Cagsawa Ruins, the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Porteria (Our Lady of the Gate), Deraga, and the Padang barangay of Legaspi City, which was buried in a landslide of ash and giant boulders as recently as 2006.
Day 6 - Legaspi to Puerto Princesa
Transfer to Airport. Flight back to Manila. Connecting flight to Puerto Princesa. Transfer to Resort. Puerto Princesa is the capital of Palawan, and is built alongside the beautiful Honda Bay. The bay offers boat trips, and there are good snorkelling opportunities for lovers of marine life.
Day 7 - Honda Bay Island Hopping
Island hopping tour joining small group, inclusive of lunch
Day 8 - Underground River Tour
St Paul’s Underground River: Awarded World Heritage Site status in 1999, this national park runs for 5 miles through a limestone cave before opening out into a lagoon. A sandbar separates the lagoon from the sea. The site is approximately 50 miles north of Puerto Princesa, and one first takes the road to Sabang, which has one of Palawan’s most beautiful beaches. Tour includes lunch.
This area is extremely active with wildlife, including Philippine macaques, monitor lizards and the highly endangered, flightless, tabon bird.
Day 9 - Puerto Princesa to El Nido
Transfer to EL Nido by private Air-Conditioned Vehicle. Arrive El Nido, check into your Resort
Day 10 - El Nido Island Hopping Tour
Tour of the islands around El Nido, joining small group, inclusive of lunch
Day 11 - Free Time at Leisure in El Nido
Day 12 - El Nido to Boracay
Check out. Flight El Nido to Caticlan direct flight.
Transfer to the port at Caticlan for the short boat ride across to Boracay Island. Arriving on Boracay, we transfer you to your Resort.
Day 13 - Free Time at leisure on Boracay
Day 14 - Free Time at leisure Boracay
Day 15 - Boracay to Cebu
Check out Resort. Transfer to Airport for Flight to Cebu. Pick up from Airport. Start of Cebu City Half Day Tour
Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 16 - Transfer to Cebu Port. Fast Ferry to Tagbilaran, Bohol.
Transferring to Cebu Port, today you’ll take a fast ferry to Tagbilaran, the capital of Bohol. Arriving at Tagbilaran, we transfer to Panglao Island, which is connected to Bohol by a short bridge, and which boast many sandy beaches. A wonderful island, Bohol has not only beautiful tropical beaches, but also coral reefs, and the famously distinctive Chocolate Hills.
Day 17 - Countryside Tour of Bohol inclusive of lunch
We spend today exploring much of what Bohol has to offer, including its six main attractions:
The Blood Compact, a marker which commemorates the spot where Datu Sikatuna, a native chieftain, forged a blood compact with Don Miguel Lopez de Legazpi representing the king of Spain, for the purpose of fostering friendly relations between the two countries. This is considered to be the first treaty of friendship between brown and white races
The centuries-old Baclayon church and museum
The Loboc-Bilar man-made forest
The remarkable Chocolate Hills, the provinceʼs signature attraction.
A Loboc River cruise. This is a fascinating boat ride along palm-fringed banks, where locals will entertain you with traditional song and dance.
See Philippine tarsiers, considered the smallest living primate, whose existence dates back more that 45 million years.
Day 18 - Whale and Dolphin Spotting and Balicasag Island Tour inclusive of lunch.
An early start to go Whale and Dolphin Spotting with an expert crew. Pamilacan Island lies between the deep sea of Bohol and Mindanao, and is noted for its huge whales and manta rays. Whale and dolphin-watching has become a popular ecotourism activity in the area where sightings have been almost certain. Dolphin species abundant in the area include bottlenose, spinner, and spotted, while 13 species of cetaceans are found including the melon-headed and baby sperm whales. This tour was designed mainly to help the fishermen of Pamilacan Island whose main source of income used to be in hunting these creatures.
We next enjoy a Balicasag Island Tour, including lunch. The tour includes a visit to an uninhabited yet beautiful white sandy islet where you can swim. For the more curious who love to explore the underwater marine life, one may opt to go snorkeling or diving.
Day 19 - Free Time at Leisure
Day 20 - Check out Resort. Flight back to Manila. Overnight stay
Day 21 - Departure
Transfer to airport for flight home.
